This Clarification Text has been prepared by LENA MAMA PUBLISHING TRADE INC.and its affiliated brands (LenaCars,Lena &Mama Publishing) (hereinafter referred to as “Company”) to inform customers about the processing of personal data within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”).

Methods of Obtaining Personal Data and Legal Grounds

Your personal data is collected in electronic or physical environments. Personal data collected in line with the legal reasons specified in this Illumination Text can be processed and shared in accordance with the conditions for processing personal data set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data is processed in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the Law for the purpose of planning and executing activities necessary for customizing and promoting products and services offered by the Company based on the preferences,usage habits,and needs of the relevant persons. Additionally,it is processed for the purposes of conducting the Company's commercial activities, planning commercial and business strategies, and ensuring legal and technical security.

Parties to Whom Personal Data May Be Shared and Purposes of Sharing

Your personal data may be shared with the Company's business partners,suppliers,legally authorized institutions,and private legal entities in accordance with the conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law. These shares are made for the purpose of customizing and promoting the products and services offered and executing the Company’s commercial strategies.

Rights of Data Subjects and Exercising These Rights

According to Article 11 of the Law,as personal data subjects,you have the following rights:

  • Learn whether your personal data has been processed,
  • Request information regarding your processed personal data,
  • Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred in the country or abroad,
  • Request correction of your personal data if they are incomplete or incorrectly processed,
  • Request deletion or destruction of your personal data,
  • Request compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

Situations Excluded from the Scope of the Law

In accordance with Article 28 of the Law,in some cases,the requests of data subjects are not processed:

  • Processing personal data for the prevention of committing a crime or for the investigation of a crime,
  • Processing data that has been made public by the relevant person,
  • Processing personal data necessary for the execution of the supervision and regulation duties of public institutions and organizations.

Exercising Rights by Data Subjects

Data subjects can apply to exercise their rights stated above by the following methods:

  • Delivering a signed hard copy of the application petition to the Company’s address in person,through a notary,or via registered mail with return receipt requested,
  • Sending it via secure electronic signature under the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070 to the registered electronic mail address [email protected],
  • Following other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
